Yesterday we watched a whale put on quite a exhibition leaping out of the water, fluke flipping and aerial barrel rolls just a few hundred meters off the shoreline.
Unfortunately, those on a huge yacht which was anchored nearby decided to take a closer look and in doing so eventually drove the whale further out to sea.
Enjoying our visit to Zihua --- it is the first time we have been here at this time of the year. I am amazed at the number of changes since we were here in March -- some of our favorite haunts are either closed or under new management. Eventually we'll scope them all out and put together a trip report.
One of the most pleasant changes is the building of awnings over some of the sidewalks. Not only does it provide more shade while you're walking but it also keeps you from slamming your forehead into a low hanging awning support :~)
