My name is Robert Whitehead and I moved to Zihuatanejo permanently in April of 1989 from Florida.\u00a0After arriving\u00a0I taught English for about 9 years, mostly in private classes given in my home. I got involved with the internet by accident, making first a personal website then more and more websites for other people until it became a business. Eventually I had to choose between teaching and being a webmaster. I can’t imagine what I was thinking, but now run one of the most successful website design and hosting\u00a0businesses in Zihuatanejo, and my personal website has become the most popular site for area information. The hours and the pay aren’t great, but there’s a lot to be said for being one’s own boss and\u00a0having an office\u00a0at home.<\/p>\n
