:tornado: Tormenta Tropical Narda is predicted to be 205 kilometers from Zihuatanejo this Sunday at midnight. While it's expected to become a hurricane, its predicted trajectory takes it westward and away from us. We got a little wind and rain late this afternoon as Lupita and I were enjoying a marvelous meal of fresh fish at La Porteña on the waterfront. So we got a little wet on the walk home. No big deal. It was a perfect afternoon in downtown Zihuatanejo!

Another day with few visible visitors in the area. The threat of stormy weather seemed to help sales at local shops, and I saw some folks enjoying themselves playing in the somewhat murky and turbulent waters of Zihuatanejo's bay. The day was mostly cloudy as the storm passed by off our coast. A nice breeze kept the temperatures mild, and the sky was art in motion as bruised clouds menaced the peaceful afternoon. The brief rain was climactic. The walkways and streets quickly emptied of people.

This Monday probably won't be a good beach day because of the turbulent and murky water, but it may be good for surfers if the storm kicks some nice waves our way.

It enjoys an extremely lovely view of the beach and bay, and with the large picture window open, it has a very open-air feel and receives refreshing breezes through the palm trees in front. This vacation rental condo has a full kitchen, Wi-fi, A/C, and cable TV as well as a pool on the property and 24-hour security. Easy walking distance to many restaurants as well as downtown shopping.
