Driver's License renewal?

My local driver's license expires in November. Last spring I recall reading a few posts that discussed problems non citizens were having getting a license or a renewal in Zihua.

I am interested in hearing from someone who is a non citizen and has recently gotten or failed to receive a driver's license renewal in Zihua.

Search the postings by Humberto Romero. The change is that now licenses are issued by the state, not the local whatever.

If you pay predial, that office will give you the info you're looking for. The girl who works next to the door speaks nice English and is helpful.
