Mother nature continues to play her little joke on us by sending rain clouds that pass by out to sea off our coast without bringing us any rain in Zihuatanejo. I saw them again early this Thursday morning, then nothing but clear blue skies for the rest of the day until the late afternoon when a few clouds floated past, but none that brought any rain. It's going to be a long wait until the next rains. Probably at least until May unless we get a freak storm before then. Now while the days shorten, the dust and the smells will accumulate, awaiting their next rinsing, the hills will lose their deep green color, and leaves that cling to drying plants will turn brown and fall. In 2 months the colors of the hillsides will be unrecognizable from what they are today.

Villas Troncones, La Casa Roja, Villa Vista Condo and Villa Zanzibar all still have availability for this season, for anyone looking for terrific vacation lodging.

I hope everyone who partook enjoyed their pozole this Thursday! A wonderful traditional meal from Guerrero.

Recent arrivals are appearing all over the place. The bar at Daniel's was full, and they had several tables occupied on the beach. Good to see!
