They seem to play the church bell recording mostly on Sundays. Yes, it is a recording and not actual bells, which makes it even worse. Fortunately, it is frequently broken. Otherwise a great neighborhood to live in, and many wonderful neighbors.
Yes, I know it's always been a recording. When we lived on Calle Adelita I used to find myself wishing I had a bazooka or a grenade launcher to take out their speaker because it would ring every night all night long EVERY 15 GODDAMN minutes.
