It's been a while since anyone from my past came to visit me here, so I was left with a feeling of melancholy this afternoon when my dear friend Phil Spolin left this Monday after a much too brief visit full of nostalgia, wonderful memories and good advice from a voice of experience. ¡Gracias por todo y hasta pronto, Phil!

The Cruz Roja de Zihuatanejo invites you to the 2nd Annual Taco Festival on Dec. 6 at 6:00 P.M. at the Municipal Pier. Tickets are $300 to enjoy a variety of tacos. Drinks not included. Tickets can be purchased at the Cruz Roja on Calle Las Huertas and at Farmacia Koyuca on the corner of Nicolás Bravo and Vicente Guerrero streets in downtown Zihuatanejo. Funds will be used to repair damaged ambulances. ¡No faltes!

It was a bit nipper this morning when I awoke. The thermometer said 22°C, but it felt like 20°C.
