I was referring to the countries in Latin America. Here the Chinese are playing the long game and either remaining neutral or winning hearts and minds through their investments. While they’ve overreached a few times, they’ve never threatened anyone here or invaded their country like the USA has done too many times. In contrast, the USA is fomenting more and more resistance to their impositions.

Funny, I'm only seeing "celebrations" by Venezuelans on U.S. media. That must be where Canada is getting their stories from. No one is celebrating south of the Río Bravo. They're protesting in front of U.S. embassies here and around the world. Latin Americans have had enough of U.S. billionaires sending the U.S. military in to take over countries whose natural resources they want. Venezuelans will blow up ports, ships, refineries, pipelines, whatever they have to in order to prevent the USA from stealing their natural resources this time.

No one will miss Maduro, but they will miss food on the table, electricity, safety in the streets, running water, jobs, peacefulness. The USA has no plan to run Venezuela. I may invest in some Canadian Maple Leaf flag tee-shirts but that would be false advertising. Soy Gringo. I would really like to have one of those tee-shirts that says "Hecho en México" but again, that would be false advertising.
