Whatever overnight freshness we still enjoy is gone by sunrise. We still enjoy sleeping with our windows open to listen to the sounds of the ocean, but we turn the fans up an entra notch now and rarely pull the sheets over us.

Large groups of people arriving by buses were wandering the streets and walkways early this morning. They were towing their luggage, coolers and baby strollers, most apparently heading to Playa Las Gatas for the day where they were still returning from after sunset this evening. All smiles, some singing, and reddened from the sun after a day at the beach.

Downtown restaurants and shops enjoyed decent sales today in spite of the heat of around 35°C. There were no clouds to give any respite from the sun, but there was a good breeze around noon. This evening the temperature seems mild. Hopefully the noise from all the visitors won't be so bad, though a rock band just finished setting up in Plaza del Artista.

Our mayor Liz completed her first Triatlón today with a third-place finish in her category. Good for her!

The upstairs has 2 bedrooms with a king-size and twin beds, full kitchen, private bath, and 2 terraces. The lower level also has 2 bedrooms with a king-size and twin beds, full kitchen, 2 baths, and a terrace. A peaceful place within easy walking distance of downtown and nearby restaurants.
