All you need to do is click on the "EXPAND THREADS" icon, which by default is selected, to fold them back up.

I registered and received the email. I clicked on the link and it said Registration Failed. Can you provide assistance?

I'm ashamed to say I can't figure out how to indent when I'm copying and pasting from another post. Everyone else seems to be able to but I can't. My tab key doesn't seem to work here. Could it be that Chrome is the villain?

When quoting another message use the GREATER THAN sign in front of the paragraph you are quoting.

I recommend you learn to click on the little "talk balloon" next to a post in order to read it without opening it.

Not a very satisfactory solution. For one, there's no little "talk balloon" in the "Latest Postings" column - you've got to open the post to read it, only to find that it's just another ubiquitous

Even using the "talk balloon" isn't much help. For example, if your response to my initial post was just I'd have to scroll down through my entire post just to get to it.

On the other hand, if could be inserted into the Subject Line, we'd all know we could simply ignore the post as being just another ...well.....as being just another

These posts with nothing but a are pretty irritating. Wouldn't it save a lot of time if it was possible to just insert that in the subject line of a post? Then, we could all just note the and carry on with more interesting lurking.

So, RW, how do we quote a post for inserting in out own thread? I know how to do that but usually there is just a button. Am I missing it?

When you hit Reply, there should be a tiny icon and a "quote message" tag in tiny red letters right above the reply box. Hit it and you get the message

Some brave folks use little photos of themselves when they post. Problem is they're too small to really see what they look like. Is there some way to enlarge the photos, if only to avoid them should we run into each other on the street?

Sorry, I set what I believe to be an ideal size for avatars that won't chew up too much bandwidth with the thousands of daily visitors. Most of us are too ugly anyway so it's just as well, and any hotties are encouraged to post full-sized photos of themselves in bikinis.

If I were a better coder I could probably rewrite the Message Board code to do what you ask, but I'm lucky to be able to get this thing to work at all. A HUGE thanks to Scott from Montreal for getting this thing running and looking as well as it does!
