ZIHmulacro en Playa Principal
The cloudy skies this Tuesday morning made our morning walk refreshing and helped keep the temperatures mild until the sun came out later, turning into a beautiful day for enjoying the beach. But there were even fewer visitors around today than yesterday, and no downtown business did well. Waterfront restaurants that opened remained mostly empty. Shop owners had few if any customers. It's a tough time of year for locals, and it's also a time when the local crime rate typically rises, so be vigilant.
We could be in for several days of wind and rain this coming weekend as a big swirly thing forms up right off our coast and just sits there for a while. Hopefully it'll move away from the coast and not towards it, but there ain't no reason with the hurricane season. Keep an eye on the local weather if you're here.
Our daughter wants everyone to know that Boutique Sunset is offering a 40% discount on their clothing until October 31! Wow!
