Día del CafeZIHto
¡Feliz Día Internacional del Café!
Tuesday evening's rain once again brought the temperature down, especially by cooling all the hot cement that has raised Zihuatanejo's ambient temperature in recent years. We love sleeping with our windows open and the fan on low. Especially when the evenings are so cool we have to sleep under a light sheet. Paradise!
The sky was crisp and clear this Wednesday morning, and Zihuatanejo Bay was like glass. I enjoyed the view so much I forgot to snap a photo.
Still hardly any visitors around. Downtown shops hardly have any sales, and many restaurants either sit empty or have closed for vacation. Hard to believe there are so few visitors here when it's the prettiest time of the year. All this beach space and all these delicious restaurants and all these wonderful lodgings just going to waste!
The forecast for the big swirly thing appears to have it remaining just off our coast as it grows in intensity for a couple of days, but then it should begin to move away. It's going to be an interesting weekend with a bit of tropical drama!
No Danzón dancers tonight. Next Wednesday evening they should be performing in Plaza del Artista again, weather permitting.
Imagine your vacation in this beautiful 3-bedroom oceanfront villa called Casa Kokopeli. This tropical-style beachfront home with a pool offers plenty of privacy and relaxation. Located right on Troncones Beach within easy walking distance of the village as well as several convenience stores and numerous restaurants. It can easily accommodate up to 8 people comfortably.
