Thursday morning and throughout the day, Zihuatanejo's bay was calm as a lake. The overnight coolness made the morning dreamlike. Perfect for a morning walk around the neighborhood or along the beach.

A few visitors were out today at the beaches and the waterfront restaurants. This is the best time of the year to be here while the hillsides are lush and green, the rivers are flowing, and there are no crowds.

I forgot to mention that yesterday the 15th was Día de Santa Teresa, significant because as usual we got a good rain. People from other places may laugh, but locals remember such dates for their annual occurrences with few exceptions. Go ahead, check previous years here in the Message Board and its Archives. It's uncanny.
