China has never tried invading any of their countries or to overthrow their leaders.

Right they just financially hobble countries they give aid to by building (they not the locals) infrastructure projects like the dock in Vanuata big enough to dock war ships then make the locals pay them back.
Keep an eye on Taiwan.

I was referring to the countries in Latin America. Here the Chinese are playing the long game and either remaining neutral or winning hearts and minds through their investments. While they’ve overreached a few times, they’ve never threatened anyone here or invaded their country like the USA has done too many times. In contrast, the USA is fomenting more and more resistance to their impositions.
