Lupita and I hope everyone enjoyed a day of love and friendship this Valentine's Day. We can't help but feel like some of the luckiest people to have ever met and fallen in love.

This Saturday morning was cool. Had to snuggle to stay warm until it was finally time to get up. Yet even as cool as it was, there were visitors out swimming at Playa Principal before the sun broke over the hillside.

This Saturday evening there was a wonderful event called Expo Café Zihuatanejo. Different coffee growers from the region offered their brands of coffee in Plaza del Artista. The aromas were heavenly! If you missed it, you missed out! They offered a superb variety of our best local coffees!

The panadería "La Boquita" celebrated their 50th anniversary today. We had planned to buy our pan dulce there this morning, but they refused our money and gave us some free pan dulce to take home with us. I taught English to the owner's daughter around 30 or so years ago.

Don't forget to visit "Las Iguanas Bazar" in La Ropa next to Casa Tucanes this Sunday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. where you'll find a fun time, the wonderful works of local artisans and merchants, and lots of sustainable products for sale.
