Is there a knowledgeable installer of SiriusXM hardware in the area?
I finally have a vehicle (a BYD Shark), but, understandably, it does not include SiriusXM radio.
Yes, I can stream SiriusXM using ApplePlay, but that doesn’t address my issue which is that there are a lot of cellular dead zones where I drive.
I think the solution is to get a SiriusXM radio, but the truck’s audio system does not have an audio-in jack, so I will need a radio with Bluetooth and FM transmitter.
Back to my question… Is there a knowledgeable installer of SiriusXM hardware in the area?

This may be old info but the satellites are positioned for service in the U.S. and Canada. I installed one for the owner of the condos that I used to stay in close to 20 years ago. I installed one for his condo and it was hard to find a spot on the first floor I could put the antenna to get any reception. The signal was very low in the sky, I would believe that you would loose your signal often while driving. Also you would have to pay Trump an import tax and help build a wall.

Our RV days ended 8 years ago. Always had Sirius XM in it. The further south we got in Mexico, the less signal. Parked here, at Costa Bella, if we positioned the antenna in exactly the right spot we usually had tunes. Good luck.

I might have to rethink this and at least test it.
I drove to Zihuatanejo in 2000 and 2001 with a Sirius radio in my truck. I drove it around the Zihuatanejo area for years and it worked well. I had a stationary Sirius radio in Troncones that worked well for years. The antenna was oriented north to catch the figure-eight orbit of the satellites that crossed at about Winnipeg.
But I see now that with the Sirius-XM merger the Sirius satellites have been decommissioned and only the XM geosynchronous satellites remain giving less signal coverage further south. It looks like PV would have signal. I’ll see about Zihuatanejo.
