Tamacun

I know many of the long time readers here are fans of Tamacun, Roberto Piza Ríos, the ecologist who cared for and raised awareness of cocodrilos in Zihuatanejo. His daughter is a very good friend of mine and she tells me that he is in the hospital after having his gallbladder removed and that they are very short on funds. He’s at Hospital general under the care of Dr. Bernardo Sepulveda Gutierrez.

I used to send money in the early years of the pandemic; but have forgotten how and am not even sure if the old ways still work. Anyway, I thought his friends would want to know.

Correction: Dr. Bernardo Sepúlveda Gutierrez is the name of the hospital. Most of us just know it as El Hospital General. He's in room #108.
