Does anyone know of a probable date when Kapital Banco, successor to Intercam, will obtain a Swift code and be able to transfer and receive funds internationally?Secondly, does anyone know if Kapital Banco will take over the fidiecomiso business that Intercam had?
Why not ask the folks who work there?

I was informed by a reliable source that no one knows as the fideicomisos complicate the legal transfer of ownership between banking parents let alone the "ownerships" represented by the current Bank.
This is not a case of money and a rubber stamp.
The first key will be who (Intercam or Kapital) sends the reminders of upcoming payments due.

Hola,I want to share my experience on transferring from Canada to Kapital here in Zihua.
I use Wise for transfer from my CIBC bank, so I deleted my previous Wise account entered my new clabe number and Curp number, did a $1000 Cad transfer to see if it works, voila!I did still go through Intercam website not Kapital.
BTW I received $343mxn more from Wise than I would have using CIBC global transfer.

Thanks for having shared TTAJ, worked for me too this morning.
I’ve been using XE.COM for years but would not work lately, required a new SWIFT code that Kapital can’t provide yet…
Wise uses mid market rate, which is good.
Transaction fee was 1.2-1.3% of the amount which is pretty fair.
Also, XE usually took 3 to 5 days. With WISE it took 3 to 5 minutes to get it. Wow!!!

I made a small transfer via my Alaska bank thru Wise to Kapital last week and it worked, But for any decent sized amounts it would be costly as my wires as a geezer are sent out of Alaska for free. Intercam used to levy a small commission on the receiving end.
