Question on FMM

Leaving for Zihua this Saturday and have a question on the new FMM. It's been a few years since my last trip and at that time they gave you the form on the airplane. My understanding now is that you need to go on-line and fill out the information prior to leaving. Is this correct? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Three friends arrived from Canada last week through MEX to ZIH. None of them filled in any forms, either online or on plane. It was simply a matter of having their passport stamped.

Thanks for the response. I will follow suit. Although, my flight is direct from Houston, I wonder if that makes a difference.
