Kapital will NEVER accept check or wire transfer deposits

A week ago, Leticia told me that Kapital is still waiting for approval to accept US checks for deposit into a Kapital account, but that we could do a wire transfer from a US account. Customers also can deposit US$ cash.
Today I went back to get exact wire transfer info and Rosalba told me that Kapital bank will NEVER be able to accept a deposit using a US bank check OR a wire transfer from a US bank. She confirmed that the only way to deposit funds is to deposit cash. I did not ask about Canadian.
My response was that we would need to close Intercam and open an account with another bank. She agreed.
It may be that other people are getting different info, but thought I'd pass this on. I'm stumped.

Wise accounts are working to transfer money to Kapital Bank. If you have a current Wise account, be sure to change it to your new Clabe issued by Kapital Bank.

We received an email from Kapital on Friday "A new way to transfer internationally is here". We went into the Ixtapa branch yesterday. Laura printed out the new instructions for us. A USD transfer goes through an intermediary bank in the UK.
Personal checks are not accepted at this time. It sounds unlikely that that option will return.
I also learned that Banco Autofin/Kapital will be using Intercam's legacy processes for trust management.

That is good news but in my case a bit late. I already opened an account at Banamex.
I don't have much faith in Kapital.

I transferred funds through WISE to my Kapital account. It took a matter of seconds.

We just open an account at Kapital and wired money from US bank account with Wise. No problem

$100k to Kapital so I can pay CFE and TelMex bills and incidentals online seems a wee bit excessive. But that's just me.

I know your bitter on them, but for a bank who got the rug pulled out by Felon 47 they have come a long way. They still have the BEST English-speaking service available Bank wide compared to ANY other Mexican bank.
Now wire transfers have been solved, hopefully soon to be fully normal.
Get locked out of your Santander account while you're in the states and see how that goes.

Are you familiar with the expression horses for courses?
No racehorse has to be suitable for every race condition.
No financial method has to be suitable for every financial transaction. Some specialized methods are more suitable for one function.
Modifying your question, I wouldn’t transfer $100,000 USD from ScotiaBank in Zihuatanejo to Banorte a block away by withdrawing cash and walking it one block. But I routinely walk around Zihuatanejo with M$10,000 in cash to “transfer it” to shopkeeepers in the mercado and elsewhere.
Wise is not a bank, yet over the years I have transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars using it.
I don’t have an Intercam account. I don’t have an Kapital account. I doubt that I ever will. ScotiaBank and Banorte are sufficient for me. But I acknowledge that Kapital is an appropriate institution for some purposes.
