¡Feliz Día del Hombre!
I hope everyone did some manly stuff this Wednesday. I did 70 pushups nonstop this morning just to show off in front of my sweetie. Drank a beer this evening. Told my wife how beautiful she is at least a hundred times. Think I'll go tell her a few more times before going to sleep. Just to be manly, donchaknow.

Cloudless days and nights come and go and blend together. Same temperatures every day from around 32°C in the day to 23°C at night. Today it got to 34°C. Fairly warm. But by dawn it gets cool enough to snuggle under the covers with the fan on low. It might drop a degree or two in the coming week as the remnants of a cold front die well north of us. I love our weather! It makes dressing such a simple task. Shorts, t-shirt, and sandals. And a baseball cap if the sun is out.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! The Danzón dancers appeared tonight at Plaza del Artista after a Tertulia Educativa that had been announced. A shame their dance event wasn't announced after having been postponed for so many weeks. The music was great, and I got to dance with my sweetie! So I guess that means they'll be back in two weeks. Hope so. We really enjoy their music and dancing.

This Thursday morning several downtown streets will be closed for the annual parade for Día de la Revolución Mexicana. Cinco de Mayo, Juan N. Álvarez and Benito Juárez. The usual parade route. The ayuntamiento is announcing the parade will start at 7:30 A.M., but I believe 8:00 A.M. is the earliest I've ever seen it start. Come watch and enjoy all the little kids dressed up as personalities from the Revolución. Zapata, Villa, Madero, Carranza and lots of Adelitas. It'll be fun!
