Temperatures got cool Saturday night and Sunday morning, down to 21°C according to published weather reports, but it felt like 19°C. Brrrrr! I almost thought about looking for a blanket. I don't think we even own one. Many sankas were in their winter gear this Sunday morning. It was apparently from a "cold front", though this is where they fizzle out. It's not predicted to be as cool Monday morning.

The ayuntamiento must've read my threat yesterday, because they were careful not to awaken us this Sunday morning even though they held the "Carrera Atlética Guadalupana" this morning. They moved the starting gate to the main plaza, a much better place to hold such an event.

Workers at the Hotel Emporio are on strike, so if you stay there I hope you'll be sympathetic to the workers. Their demands are fair and just, and they only go on strike as a last resort. Let's hope the hotel meets their demands quickly.
