Another cool morning made for perfect walking and exercise weather. Lots of us also do many of our daily chores as early as possible to take advantage of the relative coolness and beat the heat. It certainly is a privilege to be somewhere with such perfect weather. But the waves have again died down, frustrating surfers, and it doesn't look like they're going to pick up anytime soon. I miss hearing them at night. The ocean remains a quite comfortable 27.6°C.

The Abierto Mexicano de Tenis starts this coming February 23rd and runs until the 28th, for any of you interested in catching any of the matches. A great excuse to visit Acapulco and enjoy its sights and offerings. The weather is perfect this year, not too hot, so it should be another excellent event.

Remember to come enjoy the Fandango Costeño at Plaza del Artista this Friday evening starting at 6:30 P.M. The folkloric music and dancing is always excellent, especially all the young dancers taking turns showing their moves on the tarimas. Beautiful stuff!

Whale watching has been excellent recently, according to local charter captains. And decent-sized tuna are being caught about 10 miles offshore, not very far for tuna. So now's a good time to give it a go if you like tuna. It's one of our favorite fish!
