Playas Llenas de ViZIHtantes
Saturday morning wasn't quite as nipper as the previous morning. Another morning of calm water in the bay, tiny waves, and a very light breeze that picked up later on. Visitors were out early enjoying the downtown beach. And of course, the usual crowd was at Café Caracol overlooking Plaza del Artista and the downtown streets enjoying fresh locally grown coffee. It's become quite a place to see and be seen.
There's a slight chance of rain in the middle of this coming week. The surf isn't expected to pick up any until towards the end of the coming week. The ocean temperature continues to be quite comfortable at 27.5°C. Lots of visitors were here enjoying our beaches today.
Since the parking lot where the tourist buses park is again closed off and unavailable to them, their passengers are being dropped off at the Oxxo at Plaza Kioto, and they either have to walk from there to their lodging, if they have one, or else they haul their belongings around all day, including to Las Gatas and back. Amazing the municipal government hasn't attended to this growing demand for bus parking after all these years. Likewise, their lack of attending to the need for facilities for our visitors who arrive by boat. No designated anchorage, and zero services of any kind.
The musical and cultural event this evening at the Cancha Municipal for Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna was quite interesting and had a good crowd when we strolled past. Arts and crafts were also on display and for sale.
Daniel's Restaurant is becoming El Dani. Their sign went up this evening. Their official opening is for 1PM this coming Wednesday.
Don't forget to visit "Las Iguanas Bazar" in La Ropa next to Casa Tucanes this Saturday and Sunday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. where you'll find a fun time, the wonderful works of local artisans and merchants, and lots of sustainable products.

Mi esposa tomó una foto de los músicos y unos bailarines del Fandango Costeño en Plaza del Artista, pero sin saberlo también me captó tomando una foto desde nuestra azotea.
