ZIHestas Más Largas
Saturday started with a nice nipper morning. But darn! That sun keeps arriving earlier and earlier, cutting into my sleepy time and making me have to take longer siestas.
The bay was glass calm in the morning, and I could see four paddleboarders across the bay, lazily paddling along, three standing and one sitting. A fish jumped, but no whales. I guess they got the memo.
A nice balmy tropical breeze blew off the bay into downtown Zihuatanejo during most of the day. The only clouds were in the sierra. The downtown beach quickly filled up early and so did its restaurants. The waves remained small and inconsequential all day. I saw little kids playing in the surf without any difficulty or real danger.
Don't forget to visit "Las Iguanas Bazar" in La Ropa next to Casa Tucanes this Sunday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. where you'll find a fun time, the wonderful works of local artisans and merchants, and lots of sustainable products.
