It's even more crowded this Saturday! And as I predicted (experience counts for something), downtown residents now have to deal with excessive noise from the bars thumping ALL NIGHT LONG. This will go on for the next two weeks. I still wouldn't rather live anywhere else. We've learned to deal with the noise and still get our beauty sleep so we can work the next day.

Today Plaza del Artista was the center of a No King's protest by residents, visitors, and locals in support of our paisanos in the USA being mistreated by domestic terrorists with badges working for a criminal regime led by a pedophile and traitor who has violated the Constitution every day he's been in office. Most of the local media carried the event, and they saw it in a positive light. It's good to see folks standing up against WRONG and EVIL. There were millions of protesters around the world displaying similar sentiments. ¡Muchas gracias!

This evening most Mexicans will be glued to TVs around the country and the world watching the Mexican national fútbol team play Portugal in the renovated Estadio Azteca now called Estadio Banorte. Not everyone is happy with the name change, but we'll all certainly be rooting for our team in the renovated stadium's first match, a friendly. ¡Vamos México!

The surf is going to be calm for the next several days. On the 31st some small 3- and 4-foot-high waves are expected along our coast. But April 3rd, 4th and 5th things are expected to pick up with waves over 2 meters expected. Just in time for the Easter Sunday crowd.

[image]Villas Los Arcos at Playa La Ropa is a wonderful lodging I truly enjoy being able to recommend. As if La Ropa isn't beautiful enough, this exquisitely designed and decorated lodging is a place one feels instantly at home in. I wish visitors would simply spend more time in lodgings like this instead of cutting down more of our trees and clearing more land to build more vacation and retirement homes. Unos barrenderos trabajan en Playa Principal de Zihuatanejo mientras una panga sale recio del muelle. Nadie trabaja más duro que ellos y los demás de Servicios Públicos.
