¡Feliz Día del Taco!

Tuesday started off refreshing, but sheets are getting to be mostly optional for sleeping under at night, if you like to sleep with the windows open listening to the sound of the surf. I think we can continue to expect refreshing overnight temperatures for a few more weeks, but then inevitably it comes, that little puff of breeze from the south that changes everything. So enjoy the refreshing and mild temperatures while they last. The water temperature continues slightly warmer than normal, and it looks like it's going to continue warming. The waves have picked up slightly, but its barely noticeable so far. Later this week and for the coming weekend we can expect waves as high as 8 feet, well over 2 meters.

Mexico's national fútbol team has another friendly match tonight with Belgium. So millions of Mexicans will be busy for the next couple of hours. Fortunately, real fútbol isn't like U.S. football with commercial breaks every few seconds. It's 90 minutes of pure adrenaline with a brief 15-minute break.

It's still crowded here, but sales are still slow. Nevertheless, it's wonderful to see all the happy families everywhere. Wouldn't trade it for anything!
