Any suggestions for an honest mechanic in Zihua? My car is not shifting when accelerating on the highway.

We swear by El Trebol, owned by Emilio, who has three great mechanics. He is right behind the OXXO just north of Sam's Club on Calle Ceiba. He has maintained and repaired our vehicles for 9 years and we are very happy.

When I had my Ford Ranger in Troncones for about 10 years I always used Servicio Mecánico "CHEVY" It is on the frontage road between Chedraui and the Pemex and is a smaller shop.
A friend has been happy with the mechanic shop they have used for years. I don’t know the name of it, but it is on Calle Cedro (two blocks west of Sam’s Club) at the corner of Calle Enredadera.it is a larger shop

Antonio Martinez 755 558 6574, his shop is on the carreteria coming from the airport on the right side before you go up the hill which is just before the military revision on the way to Zihua. He is bilingual and extremely knowledgeable.
