The evening's freshness evaporated early this Wednesday morning and the day warmed up early. There was barely enough time to enjoy a morning stroll before it got hot. It was good to see you this morning, Margerie and Doug!

Did anyone feel the 4.0 temblorcito at 6:55 A.M. this morning? It looks like its epicenter was close to Troncones. I thought it was me doing my morning pushups. B-)

Still no details on the new public transportation rates. The rate hike is totally unjustified. Our taxis are already the most expensive in Guerrero and among the most expensive in all of Mexico.

It was sad watching Cruz Azul lose to Nashville last night in the Concacaf Champion's Cup held in the renovated Estadio Azteca. They want us to call it Estadio Banorte, but that ain't ever gonna happen.

A huge shout out to the wonderful people at SIDITEL who fixed the problem with one of my IPTV services! I'm reconnected to all my favorite programs, channels and more movies than I could ever watch. Now Lupita and I can again watch one of our favorite TV series "Death in Paradise". I couldn't believe how long "Avatar - Fire & Ash" is! I felt like I'd been away on vacation for a while by the time it was over. If you want to get ALL the channels and movies and series including some great Stones & Beatles concerts, contact my friends at SIDITEL.

See the details for the upcoming 4ta Internacional Feria de Libros Zihuatanejo 2026 on my Community Notices & Events page. It starts this Friday.

The tunas being caught aren't as large as they were a few weeks ago. The water is warming, and it turns out that big tuna trawlers are again operating in our waters, killing dolphins and sea turtles, even though they aren't supposed to be here.

[image]Whether you want to go sportfishing, whale watching (in season), sightseeing or snorkeling, my friend Capitán Ramón Olea of the panga Oleaje offers an affordable adventure waiting to be enjoyed. Ramón knows all the local fishing and snorkeling spots as well as what else is worth seeing. His 24' covered panga doesn't offer much luxury, but his expertise in fishing and his local knowledge of our coast and its marine life is second to none! Ramón practices "catch and release" fishing when possible.
