Does anyone know if they’re any vets in Zihua or Ixtapa that are able to issue the SENASICAcertificate flying back to LAX so just wondering how strict they are?

Very strict. The airlines will not allow you to board with your animal unless you have the screwworm certificate and travel health document. Make sure you have registered your pup with the CDC as well.

We were at Dr. Islas office yesterday as he was issuing a screwworm certificate to friends who are leaving tomorrow. He definitely does them. Also, our favorite vet!!

Jorge did a screw worm inspection for me in early April. When going thru customs at LAX on a early Saturday evening there was no one to check my dog's situation as far as any inspections or vaccinations. Crazy

I am going to be screwed if the ban on bringing vaccinated and inspected dogs into Mexico remains in place in the fall. What is the best Mexican gov t website to stay abreast of the situation?

Don't know that there is one. I heard it via Facebook, Sharon's post. Did a little homework, found one single article. Then Expat Insider came on Tuesday and had the above article.
We were at Dr. Islas today and he had heard nothing.
