Cell phone registration

Do Canadian cell phones need to be registered? I use a Telcel SIM card and use the amiga plan while I am in my winter home for 6 months.

All Mexican cellphone numbers must have their owner's ID verified.

You should do it right away. The deadline has already passed, and they're cancelling telephone numbers that didn't register. You should be able to do it from wherever you are. If they cancelled your number, there's still time to recover it. If you need a Mexican VPN, Firefox offers a free VPN service that includes Mexico. It comes with their browser. You can install their browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone if you don't already have it.

Hot weather is the mother of procrastination.

Some old truths retain relevance.

"It's so hot I put everything off. Hot weather is the mother of procrastination. My energy is at ebb tide. I'm getting caloricly stupid".

Thomas Edison in his personal journal, July 20, 1885

I have not found any information as to whether he had intended to make the entry a day or two earlier. :-D

I believe he was living in Ft. Myers, Florida at the time. My old home. Actually, I lived on Sanibel Island about 91 years afterwards. It was still damn hot in the summertime and there was nothing but skeeters, gators and hurricanes, but we did have frozen yogurt, Swisher Sweets, red beer, peanut-butter popcorn, square grouper, Everglades Seasoning, my homemade Café du Monde beignets with chicory coffee, and Sanibel Sauce from the Lighthouse Restaurant for our Eggs Benedict on Sunday mornings. Heaven on earth at the time!
