Besides photographing the life of Zihuatanejo for the last half of the 20th century, Cri-Cri painted beautiful scenes of the people of this town. I'm not sure when he put brush to canvas for this painting but I suspect it was in the 1960's.

These kids enjoying a lazy day in Zihua so long ago are real people, and may very well be the shop owners and fishing captains you know now from your vacations to this corner of paradise.
