Rare dense fog over Ixtapa the morning of March 2, 2008
Today started off an absolutely picture-postcard-perfect day after a refreshingly cool and fragrant night, then around noon a dense fog began rolling in off the ocean, not quite as dense as in the photo probably because of the time of day. Very unusual. This is the second time this year this has happened, but no one can recall seeing fog like this here before. Can't hardly see across the bay in Zihuatanejo or from one end of Ixtapa's beach to the other. Possibly another cool ocean current slipping through close to shore.
