We lost a 30 year old ficus tree to the winds on Thursday night. Technically it was on city property in the road easement, and while we were out trying to make contact with the city to get it removed, the wonderful Patron next door had it removed, including the roots!!! Wish we knew him so we could thank him personally. The planter will be rebuilt starting Monday, and we have already selected a fabulous tree to attempt to replace it with.

So have to love the caring neighbors we have and everyone here.
