OK, that’s not completely true. This morning children in Troncones in 1910 revolutionary costumes paraded doing a “call and response” of

“Viva Francisco Madero!”

“Madero vive!”

This is the first time I have heard that chanted during the parade. I wonder whether the children are hoping that Sheinbaum does not experience the same fate.

Yes, quite a fascinating part of history. U.S. history books whitewash it and try to eulogize Taft for "promoting peace" when his own great-granddaughter acknowledges his nefarious meddling in Mexico's affairs to sow violence and political chaos to hold Mexico back.

I believe "11 AM" referred to the hour millions of protesters were supposed to take to the streets to call for the removal of Presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, but it was a big fizzle, and almost no one showed up.
