So it’s possible for a peaceful demonstration to have agitators in the crowd? I thought this kind of talk was only for hardcore conservative terrorists.

Armed Proud Boys showed up at both peaceful No Kings Day protests in my city. That's what you meant, right?

BTW, I'm afraid the Proud Boys didn't have the intimidating effect they were anticipating. The grey-haired tuba player in the marching band followed them around and drowned them out.
