Laura, today's paper reports that the ejiditarios at La Barra de Potosí have initiated a plantón to safeguard ejido land from the Argentinian architect supposedly working for Pedro Olea Bracamontes whose workers are putting in chain-link fencing around land Olea Bracamontes claims he owns though allegedly he has shown no property title to anyone. So they are sitting there with machetes in hand day and night to protect their lands from theft. Apparently the policía turística refuse to help the locals, so locals are saying they've been bought by Olea Bracamontes. Supposedly locals are also saying that if the "responsible authorities" don't resolve this conflict soon and if Olea Bracamontes doesn't wait for the court to rule (the court is currently "on vacation") then "¡puede correr sangre!"

¡Tierra y Libertad!
¡Viva la Revolución!
¡Vivan los barradepotosinos!
