We have trips scheduled to Zihuatanejo, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Ireland, Scotland, and Morocco in the next 11 months. We will be watching the news carefully and may end up canceling some of them. I am embarrassed about what we have become.

Yes, the USA is now a rogue nation and a terrorist state. No one in their right mind can be happy about this. Everything that the rest of Latin America hated about the USA for decades has just been opened up like an old wound after years of things actually getting better, though Dan Quayle didn't exactly win any hearts and minds for the Bush Sr. administration.
